Joseph Smith with Hyrum Smith, Willard Richards and John Taylor hold the door Joseph Smith with Hyrum Smith, Willard Richards and John Taylor hold the door Joseph Smith with Hyrum Smith, Willard Richards and John Taylor hold the door The mob shoot through the door hitting Hyrum Smith in the face. Hyrum Smith exclaims "I am a dead man" falling onto his back. Joseph Smith fires a pepper gun thru the doorway at the mob The gun fires and misfires as Joseph attempts to push back the mob The mob breaks through and shoots Joseph as he runs towards a window. As Jospeh falls he cries out "Oh Lord my God" the gun shots push Joseph Smith through the window opening Joseph falls to the ground and is moved in front of the well The Mob fires more bullets into Joseph Smiths body.
